Требуется аспирант для учебы и работы над проектом в University of Western Ontario, Canada (Department of Chemical and Biochemical Engineering). *Принимаются заявления от студентов последнего курса и аспирантов химических и химико-технологических специальностей. Кандидаты должны иметь средний балл 4,75 и выше (по 5-бальной шкале) и успешно сдать TOEFL. Продолжительность учебы и работы над диссертацией (Ph.D. degree) в среднем от 4 до 6 лет. We are looking for an outstanding PhD student to work on a project at the Laboratory for Applications of Environmentally Friendly Solvents in the Department of Chemical and Biochemical Engineering at the University of Western Ontario. The University of Western Ontario is one of the top universities in Canada, located in Ontario, Canada with 32,000 undergraduate and graduate students *(www.uwo.ca). London is a beautiful city of 350,000 people which is conveniently located within 200 km of Toronto, Ontario and Detroit, Michigan. *The project will entail the involvement of the Huntsman Corporation in Houston, Texas.
The skills that the successful applicant requires is a strong background in industrial chemistry or chemical engineering with an interest in thermodynamics, kinetics and reaction engineering. The successful applicant should be hands-on with a strong interest in chemistry. The project is both experimental and has a modeling component. *Experience in working with high pressure equipment is an advantage. *Only students with over 80% or 3.75/4.0 grade-point average (GPA) should apply.
